I chatted with my sis using webcam, seeing her face became thinner, pale, it really hurts me.
It has been a long time since we last met.

Just watched this movie with my hOney & laoba.
Hoho...
Quite okay lar, but the animation is too computerized.

Only a moment after it began, my honey has feel annoyed with the animations.

NOtification/ system tray icon missing from system tray in XP

Cause

The exact cause for the problem is unknown. According to Microsoft, the problem can be caused by the Simple Service Discovery Protocol (SSDP) which discovers Universal Plug and Play devices on your network.

However, Microsoft Knowledge Base may not exactly the same symptom with notification area icons do not appearing issue, as it also has other symptoms:

• The pointer changes to an hour glass when you move it over the taskbar.
• Some icons do not appear in the notification area.
• When you click Start, nothing happens.
• The Start button does not work for several minutes, and then it starts to work.
• When you restart the computer, the icons in the notification area are missing. If you log off and log on with the same user account, the icons appear.
• When you click any icon in the Quick Launch bar immediately after starting the computer, the pointer changes to an hourglass.

Solutions

Possible solutions are many, although none confirmed to be working perfectly. If you have the symptoms as mentioned by Microsoft above, you can try out resolution suggested by Microsoft to resolve this behavior. Note that Microsoft’s solution will disable the SSDP Discovery Service, which caused new devices on the network cannot be found automatically.

1. Right-click My Computer, and then click Manage.
2. Click Services and Applications.
3. Double-click Services.
4. In the Services list, right-click SSDP Discovery Service, and then click Properties.
5. On the General tab, in the Startup type drop-down list, click Disabled.
6. Click OK.

Painted skin ~ Movie

Painted Skin is based on the same title short story from Liao Zhai Zhi Yi.
The story is set in late Yuen Dynasty, at the time when demons and devils roam free.
A fairy Shui Mei Ling who killed by her lover 100 years ago turned into a demon, and constantly needs the heart and skin of man to maintain her beauty.
As her time for reincarnation draws near, her last victim Wang Er Sheng turns out to be a descendant of the lover she killed, while his brother Wang Er Lang (Donnie Yen) is a ghostbusting master who is highly skilled, brave and smart.

Vicky Zhao
Kind-hearted and virtuous, deeply loves her husband Chen Kun. Yet she is more than meets the eye.

Zhou Xun
Fox spirit with multiple disguises. Sometimes appears as an innocent little girl, sometimes behave like a little demoness. Upon falling for Chen Kun, is willing to do anything for him. Has a selfish and parochial view on love initially but eventually learns the meaning of true love.

Sun Li

busy yesterday

I was so busy yesterday..
I audited inventory from 8am till almost 4pm wor!!
Shouldnt use "audit" to describe it, i should use counting inventory instead --"

We are going to style our hair at salon.

Even though i worry so much initially.
U know, when the stylist perm my hair, he repeated undo it.
I worried, and asked him, is there anything wrong with my hair?
He said, they were not in a good shape, then he changed another method to perm my hair.
He used manual method wor.
Then, jreng!!!
My new hair style came out!!

Arrived at the party, it was so crowded...

US government in £47bn AIG rescue

The US government will provide a £47.2bn emergency loan to rescue the huge insurer AIG, the Federal Reserve has said.
